ABOUT US

An initiative by NUS Enterprise, BLOCK71 Singapore is a dynamic ecosystem builder and global connector for the startup community.

With three centers across Singapore, we support the growth of pre-seed to Series A startups. We also provide a wide range of resources, including tailored incubation, accelerator programmes, international market access, corporate innovation partnerships, deep tech development, and collaborative spaces. As a catalyst for innovation, BLOCK71 Singapore has been shape Singapore’s entrepreneurial landscape and connect local ventures to global markets.

At least one founder has to be NUS-affiliated. Startups do not need to be incorporated.

BLOCK71 at LaunchPad @ one-north supports growth-stage startups of all industries.

No NUS affiliation required. Company needs to be incorporated in Singapore.

BLOCK71 at Singapore Science Park supports early- and growth-stage startups working on deep-tech solutions.

Supporting Aspiring Entrepreneurs:
Student Entrepreneurship Community

While BLOCK71’s primary focus is on incubating and accelerating startups, we also support aspiring entrepreneurs through our Student Entrepreneurship Community (SEC).

A partnership with top NUS entrepreneurship clubs, SEC members are exposed to startup life through hackathons and networking opportunities. Many SEC members go on to start their own ventures and join BLOCK71's incubators.

We are running cohorts now!

Starting 2025, BLOCK71 Singapore is running one incubation cohort per quarter to make it easier for founders to plan their fundraising and growth cycles. And we are now calling for applications for the upcoming Spring Cohort (April - June 2025)!

Each cohort has a general track and sometimes, a special track as well.

General Track: Open to startups up to Series A, across all industries

Special Track: A seasonal feature, a cohort can also include deep-dives into specific industries in partnership with our corporate partners. For Spring 2025 , we are partnering with Microsoft for a special track targeting startups using Generative AI.

This is a 10-week programme designed to accelerate the growth of early-stage generative AI startups. In partnership with Microsoft, you’ll be empowered to refine your startup’s AI models, explore real-world applications, and scale your venture with confidence.
The track gives you access to:
